Q1. Do the rocks of Central Park belong to a single or multiple rock formations?
Q2. What was the principal stresses direction during folding?
Q3. In what direction(s) were glaciers moving during the last glaciation?
Since the GeoChem puffer data of the chemical composition of the rocks in Manhattan are very closely related to each other, I hypothesize that the rocks in Central Park belong to the same rock formation and not multiple different rock formations.
It appears that the principal stress direction was about140 degrees.
According to the data we gathered in Central Park it appears that the glaciers were moving in a N-S direction
