Arthur is the supervisor taking orders from his director. Although the director told him to complete a task a certain way he sometimes find a different way of completing the same task. As he tells his team of employees his ideas not everyone feels it is the best way in other words his subordinates do not agree with the decision, and feel the need to prove dominance. From my observation here they are playing cities against each other. Arthur’s leadership style has affected the organization in a way that the team do not feel motivated to accept changes in the organization. As a result, Arthur is not understanding why he’s team behave the way they do and he feels like they “envy” him. The Confucian Asia group are leaders who cares, and are value-based, and are independent in decision making. According to the article from Artiz and Walker it states that multicultural groups have different communication patterns which influence leadership practice and, in this scenario,, this is what I believe Arthur and the team should practice communication and understand what it’s expected from everyone in the organizations culture.

Lastly, Riverbed City team should focus more in their job and stop focusing on Arthurs leadership style and accept the changes to produce a healthy and prosperous work environment.
