The purpose of this assignment is for you to identify an unhealthy behavior and make progress towards changing that unhealthy behavior. Examples include, but are not limited to, consuming more fruits and vegetables each day, exercising for 30 minutes or more on 5 days out of the week, and getting more sleep. Students will be required to identify their topic, create a SMART goal for this behavior change throughout the course, provide justification for why they need to change (say why the new behavior is necessary to become a healthier person), and provide an electronic method of tracking this behavior change.
For the final paper- Please restate what your behavior was and the strategy you used (this was in a DBQ before, but you will still need to restate it so I can remember and ties the info together). Be sure to include the technology/app you used in your plan.
Then, provide a final reflection on the behavior modification plan. Were you successful with modifying your behavior? Why or why not? What changes in your health did you experience? What challenges did you encounter? How did you overcome them? Provide documentation of your behavior change attempt (i.e., submit several screen shots of your electronic device to demonstrate your behavior change tracking).
