- This website focuses on keeping the media up to date news in regards to any pandemic going on. It also contains general information on what a pandemic is, how to stay safe/sanitize, and offers different readings on training resources on how to social distance.
Questions to Ask for A Pandemic Plan
- Gartner covers a modern example(corona virus) on their webpage and discusses what companies to know in the face of a pandemic. It also has a detailed list of 10 questions a company needs to answer to be completely prepared for a crisis. For example, “ Can our company operate with 25% or greater absenteeism?”
- This site covers a larger scale of questions then the last with different sections of questions concerning Information and Communication, Human Resource/Benefit Concerns, Operational Concerns, and External Communication Concerns.
- This site is also a great resource for Pandemic planning and offers a list of 10 questions regarding a company preparing for the occurrence of a pandemic. It asks detail oriented questions such “ Have you defined reliable information sources?“ A second question that stood out to me was “ Has the firm documented Human Resources provisions?“

The first chart was named Healthcare System Preparedness. The second chart was known as Healthcare System Recovery. Third was known as Emergency Operations Coordination. Each chart was divided into Recommended Actions, what is in place, In Progress, and Undeveloped.
