films, “The Sixt Section” and “My town”, this essay should: (a) define social capital;
(b) discuss the factors that might promote or constrain the emergence of social
capital; (c) explain how and why the migrants’ social capital helps them fill structural
holes in the workplace; (d) distinguish the community from individual migration social
capital and explain how the growth of immigrant populations generates community-
wide resources that help solve the everyday problems of migration. An effective
